One photo. Two mysteries.
See how WhenWhere works in 40 seconds: look for clues, choose a place and a year, then discover the moment.
What you’re watching
This staged demonstration follows an actual game round using an archival photograph of Tangier, Morocco, from 1967. The map pin is inside the photograph’s documented 350-metre allowance, and the year is correct, earning the maximum 10,000 points for the round.
The history panel is a When&Where Plus feature. The final passport scene shows 100 XP and Level 2 after a complete five-round game. This 40-second edit follows one of those rounds. Ready for a fresh challenge? The daily five are free with an account.
