When&Where is a historical-photo guessing game provided by Connect Holdings LLC. These terms apply to your use of playwhenwhere.com. Your account and fair play

Use When&Where for personal play and keep your sign-in credentials secure. Do not share or sell access to your account, impersonate someone else, harass other players, or submit material you do not have permission to share. Contact support if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.

Do not use bots, exploit bugs, manipulate scores or interfere with other players or the service. We may remove abusive content, correct invalid results or restrict accounts to protect fair play and account security. You can contact support to ask us to review a restriction.

Free play and When&Where Plus

The daily challenge remains free. The membership page describes the current free and Plus features and shows whether paid checkout is available. Access during early access does not create a paid subscription. You are charged only if you choose a plan and confirm payment in checkout.

When available, Plus costs $6.99 USD billed monthly or $47.88 USD billed annually. The annual plan is one $47.88 payment; $3.99 per month is its monthly equivalent. There is no introductory paid-plan trial or first-year promotional rate in this offer. Checkout shows the seller, payment terms and total before you confirm payment. Do not assume tax is included in the advertised price; any tax charged is itemized in checkout.

Membership renews automatically at the selected monthly or annual interval until you cancel. Stripe currently provides hosted checkout and billing tools. When&Where does not store your full card number or security code. Use the same When&Where account to access Plus on your phone or computer browser; a separate native app is not included.

Cancel a renewal

Open My journey and choose Manage membership to cancel in the billing portal before your next renewal. Cancellation stops future renewals and leaves your membership active through the end of the paid billing period. Cancelling a renewal does not itself issue a refund. If you cannot access the portal, contact support@playwhenwhere.com for help.

Our refund policy

You can request a full refund of your first membership payment within 14 days of that payment. This applies to both monthly and annual memberships, with no limit on how much you have played during those 14 days.

Email support@playwhenwhere.com with your account email and payment date or receipt reference. You do not need to remain signed in to make a request. Do not send your password, full card number or card security code.

We review renewal-payment refund requests individually. We also review and correct duplicate or erroneous charges. An accepted full refund ends membership access and stops future renewals. Approved refunds are processed through the payment provider; the time they take to appear depends on your payment method and bank.

This policy is in addition to any cancellation, refund or other consumer rights that apply by law. It does not limit those rights.

Deleting your account is different

You can start deletion in account settings. Confirming deletion ends membership access immediately, stops future renewals and removes your saved journey. It does not automatically refund unused time. Request a refund separately under the policy above; deleting your account does not remove your right to ask. To stop the next charge while keeping your account and remaining paid access, cancel the renewal instead.

Historical photographs and community content

Photographs retain their original source credits and applicable licenses. A Plus membership does not transfer ownership of archive images or grant additional reuse rights. Follow the source link and its license before reusing a photograph. See About & sources for our approach to dates, locations and attribution.

Historical records can be incomplete, and we may correct photo details or remove a photo when new evidence warrants it. Report an attribution, accuracy or rights concern through Report a concern or by emailing support. Only share profile names, clubs and collections that you are comfortable making visible to their intended audience.

Service availability and changes

We maintain and improve When&Where, but outages, maintenance and corrections can interrupt play. Features and the photo catalog may change. Contact support about a paid feature that is unavailable or not working as described so we can investigate and provide an appropriate resolution, including any rights you have by law.

We will publish updates to these terms with a new effective date and give notice of material membership or renewal-price changes before they apply. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
