A few membership details
What is Behind the photo?
After you reveal a photograph, Plus opens a short account of the moment, photo-specific historical context, and details worth noticing. Each story links to its archival record. Stories are available throughout the archive. The answer, basic caption, and original photo credits remain free.
Will I need a subscription for the daily challenge?
No. The daily challenge, saved streaks, basic statistics and score sharing stay free.
Do my friends need Plus to accept a challenge?
No. A host creates the challenge with Plus; friends sign in and play the same five photos without a paid plan.
Can I use my membership on my phone?
Yes. Use the same account in your phone or desktop browser. A native mobile app is not available yet.
Can I get a refund?
Request a full refund of your first monthly or annual membership payment within 14 days, regardless of how much you have played. Renewal requests are reviewed individually. An accepted full refund ends membership and stops renewal. Read the refund policy and how to request one.
How do I cancel?
Open My journey and choose Manage membership to access your secure billing portal. Cancellation stops the next renewal; access continues through the paid period.
